Uranin is a yellow, green fluorescent water-soluble dye. It is used for leak testing of walls, pipes and tanks. The fluorescence can particularly well be observed under illumination with a black light. The stability of Uranin suffers when exposed to sunlight and to a pH <7. We recommend a concentration of 1 g / 1000 l water.
