Basalt Black, fine powder belongs to the group of magnetic pigments.

Basalt is an eruptive rock of volcanic origin. When the basalt magma cools, basalt deposits are formed. In Germany, it is usually found in the form of hexagonal prisms on both sides of the Rhine in mid-elevation mountains. Basalt is very hard and resistant to water and weathering. No crystallization structures are visible. We offer basalt as a filler material for gray mortar mixes in various forms of milling and fire-drying.
