The fibres are beaten in a classic Hollander beater with brass bars, buffered with Calciumcarbonate and internal ph – neutral sized.
Handmade at the vat by using a historical English double faced laid mould (Amies, Maidstone, Kent, Nr. 8792), four side deckle edge, couched on traditional woven woolen felts, dewatered in a 40 t press and cold air dried. Raw material: White: rags (cotton); chamoise: unbleached hemp, rags (cotton), pigment; grey: rags (cotton) , rags (blue cotton), unbleached hemp, pigment; black: rags blue (cotton) pigment. Ageresistant according ISO 9706, ANSI NISO Z 39.48.
